Shalimar Paints hits new 52 week high on the BSE

Shalimar Paints is currently trading at Rs. 140.35, up by 5.60 points or 4.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 134.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 142.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 150.60 and Rs. 137.45 respectively. So far 557881 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 150.60 on 19-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 82.90 on 20-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 150.60 and Rs. 119.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 772.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.71% and 43.19% respectively.

Hella Infra Market (the parent company of Infra.Market) is planning to invest an amount of Rs 270 crore through a combination of equity and debentures in Shalimar Paints (SPL), subject to shareholders' and necessary regulatory approvals. Notably, EY (formerly Ernst & Young) acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Shalimar Paints. The move will enable Shalimar Paints to strengthen its balance sheet, enhance its product offerings, and seed newer markets.

Shalimar Paints is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of decorative paints and industrial coatings.
