Canara Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.
The bank has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1502.12 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 696.06 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 0.24% at Rs 21,312.27 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 21,365.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the bank has reported over two-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1657.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 749.73 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the bank decreased by 6.28% at Rs 22,843.51 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 24,376.16 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
