DLF’s promoter Pia Singh and daughter of chairman K P Singh has sold 1,04,33,600 shares of the company in an open market transaction and offloaded it to nine other promoter entities. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 223 a piece aggregating the deal size to Rs 232.67 crore on National Stock Exchange (NSE) on December 11, 2012.
The promoter entities include DLF Investments, Haryana Electrical Udyog, Kohinoor Real Estates Company, Madhur Housing & Development Company. Other entities included Megha Estates, Panchsheel Investment Company, Realest Builders and Services, Vishal Foods & Investments, Yashika Properties and Development Company.
Till the end of September 30, 2012, Pia Singh held about 2.28 crore shares representing 1.34% stake in the realty major. Last month, DLF had declared that Pia Singh will sell up to 1.25 crore shares, worth up to 0.73% stake in the company, at Rs 216.41 per share by December 17, 2012.
