Punjab & Sind Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2021.
The bank has reported net profit of Rs 300.82 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 2,375.53 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased by 3.46% at Rs 2,042.03 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 1,973.78 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The bank’s gross Non Performing Asset (NPA) for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 14.44%, as compared to 13.14% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s net NPA stood at 3.01% in Q3FY22.
