Minda Industries tumbles on reporting 14% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

Minda Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1027.70, down by 86.20 points or 7.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 1113.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1112.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1112.00 and Rs. 1011.70 respectively. So far 64685 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1260.00 on 29-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 460.00 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1144.80 and Rs. 1011.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 29428.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.06% and 9.47% respectively.

Minda Industries has reported a rise of 7.64% in its net profit at Rs 65.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 61.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.86% at Rs 1354.51 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 1200.18 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 13.50% in its net profit at Rs 118.16 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 136.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 7.13% at Rs 2,193.91 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 2,047.81 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
