NHPC has signed a letter of intent (LoI) to build renewable energy projects of 10,000 MW in Rajasthan. A LoI has been signed between the company and Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RRECL) for development of 10,000 MW Renewable Energy Projects/ Parks in Rajasthan.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
