UCO Bank has informed that in exercise of the powers conferred by of clause (f) of the sub-section (3) of section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980, read with sub-clause (1) & (2) of clause 9 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme. 1970/1980, the Central Government after consultation with Reserve Bank of India appointed D. N. Thakur, Senior Manager, UCO Bank as officer employee director on the board of directors of UCO Bank for a period of three years with effect from December 12, 2012.
