Karnataka Bank awarded with ‘Operational Excellence Award’

Karnataka Bank has been awarded with ‘Operational Excellence Award’ in recognition of its excellent performance in ATMs and switch connected to NFS (National Financial Switch) ATM Network. This national Award is instituted  by National Payment Corporation  of India (NPCI) to recognize the overall efficiency  and performance  of Banks under NFS ATM network with specific reference to number of acquirer  transactions, issuer transactions,  ATM uptime, charge back efficiency, decrease in business declines, decrease in technical declines,  settlement  efficiency,  general performance of ATMs, safety measures  etc./ besides effective complaint handling mechanism.

Karnataka  Bank is operating its ATM network under the brand name ‘Money Plant’ and the bank’s ATM has become quite popular among its users on account of its strategic  location,  dependability, good ambience, increased uptime etc. Even the other bank's customers also prefer “Money Plant ATM” of Karnataka Bank as evidenced by high acquirer transaction.

Besides, it is observed that, for every 100 transactions, 62 transactions are from card holders of other Banks. The bank has 430 ATMs across India and has plans to increase it to 500 by March 2013.
