Canara Bank raises Rs 1000 crore through Bonds

Canara Bank has raised Rs 1000 crore through allotment of Non Convertible, Perpetual, Taxable, Subordinated, Fully Paid Up, Unsecured, Basel III Compliant Additional Tier I Bonds 2021-22 Series III. The bank came out with issuance of Rs 1000 crore of Additional Tier I bonds on March 3, 2022. The bank received total bid amount of Rs 3133 crore, out of which full issuance of Rs 1000 crore was accepted at 8.07%.

Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bangalore, in Karnataka. It was established at Mangalore in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country.
