Zydus Wellness has roped in popular film actor Akshay Kumar to endorse Sugar Free, the sugar substitute brand. Sugar Free provides a range of sugar substitutes for a variety of usage occasions through its portfolio of sub brands such as Sugar Free Gold, Sugar Free Natura, and Sugar Free Herbvia which come in pellets, sachets, liquid and powder formats.
The company has reported a rise of 38.13% in its net profit at Rs 23.62 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 17.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has decreased by 20.97% at Rs 51.41 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 65.05 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
