REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of REC, has handed over the project-specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) formed for the construction of Transmission Project viz., ‘Transmission Scheme for Solar Energy Zone in Gadag (2500 MW), Karnataka - Part A to ReNew Transmission Ventures.
RECPDCL acted as the Bid Process Coordinator for the project and successfully handed over the Inter-State Transmission Project of Ministry of Power, Government of India to ReNew Transmission Ventures.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
