Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has been bestowed with Corporate Excellence Award by Institute of Public Enterprises. The bank received the award on December 14, 2012 at Hotel Vivanta by Taj, New Delhi. The function was well attended by various eminent personalities from all fields which includes senior bureaucrats, top officials of public sector enterprises and media persons.
Besides, the bank has been bestowed with the Outlook Money Awards 2012 under Category - Best Home Loan Provider (Runners Up) and Best Education Loan Provider (Runners Up).
Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank, which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. Central Bank of India which has got pan India presence with more than 4,100 branches, has been continuously devoted itself in the service of the retail customers through its customer centric approach.
