Low-cost airline, SpiceJet has reportedly launched its first international direct flight from Ahmedabad connecting Dubai.
SpiceJet operates direct daily flights to Dubai from Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi; Ahmedabad is the fourth destination in India from which the airline operates to Dubai. The airline has been working on new destinations in the domestic market as well as on international routes.
Recently, the company had increased the fees on excess baggage to encourage flyers to travel light. It decided to hike the charge on excess baggage from Rs 200 to Rs 250 on each additional kg.
