New Delhi Television zooms on getting nod to sell entire stake in Delta Softpro

New Delhi Television is currently trading at Rs. 223.50, up by 5.75 points or 2.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 217.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 228.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 228.60 and Rs. 220.80 respectively. So far 9828 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 4 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 275.65 on 25-Mar-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 53.25 on 03-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 228.60 and Rs. 193.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1434.81 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.90% and 23.65% respectively.

New Delhi Television has received approval to sell company’s entire stake in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta Softpro (Delta Softpro), constituting 100% of the total share capital of Delta Softpro, for a consideration of Rs 30 crore. The transaction is subject to the execution of a definitive agreement and the fulfilment of other conditions. The Board of Directors at their meeting on April 19, 2022, considered and approved the same.

The company will also invest an amount of Rs 1.32 crore in Delta Softpro by way of rights issue so that the subsidiary can discharge certain liabilities ahead of its sale.

New Delhi Television operates as a television media company in India and internationally.
