South Indian Bank set to achieve business target of Rs 75,000 crore

As envisaged in the Vision Document 2008, the Kerala-based - South Indian Bank looks forward to achieve a business target of Rs 75,000 crore by end of this fiscal year. Till date the bank has been able to achieve Rs 67,000 crore of total business. According to its five-year business plan -Vision 2013 - it is suppose to achieve Rs 75,000 crore business, 750 branches, 750 ATMs and 7,500 employees.

The bank is also planning to open more branches in Gujarat, West Bengal and Maharashtra. It expected to inaugurate another 25 ATMs by March 2013 taking the total to 800.
