Engineers India (EIL) has set up a new super specialty block in government general hospital, Kakinada under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The company has constructed two floors in the hospital with super specialty blocks - Paediatrics & Plastic Surgery and Urology & Neurology.
The newly constructed blocks would provide the convenience of treating outdoor patients and conducting specialized surgeries with enhanced capacity by 50% from the present total of 13,053 out patients and 1648 surgeries.
Beside, this facility which was inaugurated by Union Minister for Human Resource Development would significantly enhance the capacity of the Government General Hospital to cater to the entire population of East and West Godavari districts in Andhra Pradesh.
