Mahindra CIE Automotive trades jubilantly on reporting many fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Mahindra CIE Automotive is currently trading at Rs. 231.55, up by 32.50 points or 16.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 199.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 214.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 234.00 and Rs. 214.50 respectively. So far 458337 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 311.65 on 16-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 153.30 on 26-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.00 and Rs. 184.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8662.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.05% and 9.78% respectively.

Mahindra CIE Automotive has reported net profit of Rs 168.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to net loss of Rs 76.12 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 26.96% at Rs 1,086.25 crore for March quarter as compared Rs 855.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 16-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 161.43 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to net profit of Rs 10.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 17.67% at Rs 2,599.11 crore for March quarter as compared Rs 2,208.76 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
