Eicher Motors’ JV reports over two-fold jump in sales in April 2022

Eicher Motors and Volvo Group’s joint venture (JV) -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported over two-fold jump in sales at 5,525 units in April 2022. The company had sold 2,145 units in the same month last year.

Eicher branded trucks and buses sales were at 5,416 units in April 2022 as compared to 2,096 units in the year-ago month, a growth of 158.4 per cent. Volvo trucks and buses sales were at 109 units as against 49 units in April 2021.

Eicher Motors is an India-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing automobile products and related components. The company operates in business verticals, including motorcycles, commercial vehicles and personal utility vehicles.
