Torrent Power has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.
The company has reported net loss of Rs 525.76 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 414.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 21.31% at Rs 3,724.13 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 3,069.84 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss of Rs 487.37 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 398.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.23% at Rs 3,840.59 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 3,116.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a fall of 69.08% in its net profit at Rs 409.71 crore as compared to Rs 1,324.91 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 16.51% at Rs 14,011.83 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12,026.80 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 64.60% in its net profit at Rs 458.70 crore as compared to Rs 1,295.87 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 17.69% at Rs 14,492.65 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 12,314.47 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
