CESC reports marginal rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

CESC has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported fall of 4.07% in its net profit at Rs 259 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 270 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 5.64% at Rs 1691 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 1792 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 3.73% in its net profit at Rs 445 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 429 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 2.96% at Rs 3092 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 3003 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a rise of 0.25% in its net profit at Rs 816 crore as compared to Rs 814 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.32% at Rs 7479 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7101 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a rise of 3.08% in its net profit at Rs 1405 crore as compared to Rs 1363 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.97% at Rs 12820 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 11874 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
