Kalpataru Power Transmission reports 39% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Kalpataru Power Transmission has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022.

The company has reported fall of 33.08% in its net profit at Rs 87 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 130 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 13.70% at Rs 2,029 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 2,351 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 38.50% in its net profit at Rs 115 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 187 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 1.58% at Rs 4,169 crore for Q4FY22 as compared Rs 4,104 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, the company has reported a fall of 16.26% in its net profit at Rs 515 crore as compared to Rs 615 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 7.83% at Rs 7,143 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 7,750 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.

For the year ended March 31, 2022, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 19.18% in its net profit at Rs 535 crore as compared to Rs 662 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 14.21% at Rs 14,866 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 13,016 crore for year ended March 31, 2021.
