Adani Power is looking for long-term coal linkage for its proposed thermal power plant in Maharashtra. It has requested the Coal Ministry to grant this long-term coal linkage for setting up Independent Power Producer at Tiroda. The first unit of the proposed plant is on the verge of commissioning, so it is looking for pending allocation of alternate coal, which will convert the tapering linkage into long term coal linkage.
Adani Power has been established to carry on the business of generation, accumulation, distribution and supply of power and to generally deal in electricity and to explore, develop, generate, accumulate, supply and distribute or to deal in other forms of energy.
