NTPC gains on starting commercial operation of second part capacity at Kayamkulam Floating Solar PV Project

NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 149.55, up by 1.40 points or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 148.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 150.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 151.00 and Rs. 147.65 respectively. So far 355939 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 166.30 on 19-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 107.80 on 31-May-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 151.00 and Rs. 141.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 144722.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.67% and 3.23% respectively.

NTPC has started commercial operation of second part capacity of 35 MW out of 92 MW Kayamkulam Floating Solar PV Project at Kayamkulam, Kerala. The first part capacity of 22 MW has already been declared on commercial operation.

With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 54651.68 MW. Further, group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 69016.68 and 68356.68 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
