Amara Raja Batteries has received an approval for the incorporation of a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary namely ‘Amara Raja Circular Solutions’. The proposed wholly-owned subsidiary company to be incorporated in India for the business of batteries recycling and other aligned activities in processing all kinds of Non-Ferrous Metals, all types of plastics (including polyethene terephthalate, polypropylene etc.,), and industrial scrap generated in batteries manufacturing plants. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on May 20, 2022, has approved the same.
Amara Raja Batteries is the flagship company of the group and is engaged in manufacturing of industrial and automotive batteries. The company was first to introduce Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries with three year warranty in industrial and automotive applications.
