Punjab National Bank has informed that the bank has appointed M/s Phillipos & Co., Bangalore, M/s K.N. Gutgutia & Co., Kolkata, M/s CVK & Associates, Mumbai, M/s Ramesh Kapoor & Co., Srinagar, M/s Borkar & Muzumdar, Mumbai, and M/s G.S. Madhava Rao & Co., Hyderabad, chartered accountant firms as statutory central auditors of the bank for the year 2012-13.
Out of the above, the first four firms have been appointed in place of four Statutory Central Auditors, who have retired on completing their term. M/s Borkar & Muzumdar, Mumbai and M/s G.S. Madhava Rao & Co., Hyderabad are the existing firms, who have not completed their tenure.
