Eicher Motors and Volvo Group joint venture (JV) company -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has reported around 5-fold jump in sales at 5,637 units in May 2022. The company had sold 1,223 units in the same month last year.
Eicher branded trucks and buses sales were at 5,033 units in May 2022 as compared to 656 units in the year-ago month, a growth of around 8-fold. Volvo trucks and buses sales were at 133 units as against 48 units in May 2021.
Eicher Motors is an India-based company, which is engaged in manufacturing automobile products and related components. The company operates in business verticals, including motorcycles, commercial vehicles and personal utility vehicles.
