Sigachi Industries, NTPC and Wipro to see some action today

Sigachi Industries has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, UAE, under the name of ‘Sigachi Mena Fzco’ as a Free Zone Company in compliance with the regulations issued by the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZA). The scope of business to be carried out by the subsidiary shall be discussed in the ensuing board meeting and the same shall be intimated to the stock exchanges.

NTPC is all set to commence commercial operation of second part capacity of 15 MW out of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project at Kawas, Gujarat, with effect from June 15, 2022. With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 54666.68 MW, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 69031.68 MW. 

Wipro is increasing its investment locally in Norway to help its clients capitalize on digital transformation. Within the next two years the company is looking to grow from 85 to 350 employees in Norway. The intention behind the new operating model is to empower local management to provide more in-depth local contact, decision making, and investment for the long-term benefit of local clients. Having a 95 percent locally hired workforce in Norway today, Wipro is determined to stay at this level in its new growth phase.

Tarsons Products has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Board of Radiation & Isotope Technology, Government of India (BRIT). The MoU is for setting up of Gamma Radiation Processing Plant of the Company at Amta, Howrah, West Bengal for captive consumption purpose.

Dev Information Technology has bagged order worth Rs 2.52 crore for Online Integrated Portal for Farmers (RajKisan Saathi) comprising of services related to agriculture, horticulture, seed certification, seed corporation, and agriculture marketing. The company has bagged order from Rajcom Info Services.

Bharti Airtel has entered into an Agreement for acquisition of 62,58,000 (14.304%) equity shares in Avaada MHAmravati, a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the Captive Power Plant, in terms of the regulatory requirement for captive power consumption under electricity laws.

Asian Paints has entered into a Shareholders Agreement and Share Subscription Agreement with the promoters of Weatherseal Fenestration (hereinafter referred to as Weatherseal Fenestration) for infusion of Rs 19 crore (approx.) for 51% stake by subscription to the equity share capital of Weatherseal Fenestration, subject to customary closing adjustments and conditions precedent.
