Corporation Bank trades with traction on the BSE

Corporation Bank is currently trading at Rs. 483.40, up by 3.20 points or 0.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 480.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 484.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 488.00 and Rs. 482.45 respectively. So far 8067 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 528.45 on 16-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 362.05 on 30-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 494.85 and Rs. 477.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7164.27 crore.’

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.52% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.84% and 7.63% respectively.   

Corporation Bank unveiled a new deposit scheme ‘Corp Power Plus’, with a new tenor of 555 days and offering interest of 9.10% per annum. The interest payable is higher than the maximum of 9% it pays for one-year deposits and is with effect from January 07, 2013. Besides, the bank pays 6.5% to 9% for deposits of various maturities.
