Greenlam Industries has entered into an Asset Purchase agreement with Bloom Dekor for the purchase of latter's laminate manufacturing facility situated at Gujarat comprising of land admeasuring around 31,500 sqm (out of which around 9200 sqm is constructed area) along with machineries & equipment with production capacity of around 3.4 million laminate sheets per annum.
The investment of Rs 36 crore (excluding duties and taxes) required for the acquisition and additional capex of Rs 15 crore around will be required to operationalize and upgrade the manufacturing facility.
