Oil and Natural Gas Corporation wins ‘WCDM-DRR Award’

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has won the ‘WCDM-DRR Award’ for excelling in the field of Disaster Management by ‘bringing new practices, improving the existing ones, upgrading the tools and skills and innovating new areas’ on June 22, 2022.

The award was presented to ONGC for making excellent requisite measures for continual improvement in health and safety through adoption of best procedures and technologies with carrying out Exploration & Production operations in one of the most hazard and risk prone industry.

ONGC is India’s largest government-run corporation and produces about 70% of India’s crude oil and natural gas. The corporation is the biggest public sector commercial organization in India.
