Jaiprakash Associates has informed that the Company is holding 1,00,000 Series A Redeemable Preference Shares of Rs 1,00,000 each (Series A RPS), aggregating Rs 1,000 Crores issued by UltraTech Cement, due on 29th June, 2022. The said Series A RPS have not been redeemed by UltraTech Cement on due date as per the terms of the issue and the Company is taking appropriate steps in terms of the Agreement between the parties.
