Federal Bank, a Kerala based bank, has inked pact with Sree Padmanabhaswami Temple, in order to introduce online religious offering services bouquet. With these services devotee’s can make offerings (pujas) without visiting the place, by using any credit or debit card or the Federal Bank net banking service (FedNet). It plans to roll out the service through its merchant-payment system soon.
The bank posted a rise of 12.52% in its net profit at Rs 215.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 191.16 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 12.14% at Rs 1665.04 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1484.79 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
