Central Bank wins second prize for implementation of official language policy

Public-sector bank, Central Bank of India has been awarded second prize for the best implementation of official language policy of Government of India in the State of Maharashtra for the year 2011-12 by Maharashtra State Level Banker Committee (Rajbhasha). The bank has received the award in a function held on January 08, 2013 at Pune.

Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank, which was wholly owned and managed by Indians. Central Bank of India which has got pan India presence with more than 4,100 branches, has been continuously devoted itself in the service of the retail customers through its customer centric approach.
