Tata Steel Long Products has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2022.
The company has reported net loss of Rs 331.09 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 331.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 24.80% at Rs 2,154.78 crore in Q1FY23 as compared Rs 1,726.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
Tata Steel Long Products is one of India’s largest merchant sponge iron manufacturers. The company is engaged in the production of sponge iron by direct reduction method of iron ore and power generation from waste heat.
