Shalimar Paints zooms on reporting 24% rise in Q3 net profit

Shalimar Paints is currently trading at Rs. 130.15, up by 16.80 points or 14.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 113.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 115.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 136.00 and Rs. 115.00 respectively. So far 234744 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 153.70 on 22-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 70.42 on 07-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 136.00 and Rs. 112.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 248.62 crore.

The company has reported 24.40% rise in its net profit at Rs 4.69 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 3.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 14.19% at Rs 143.78 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 125.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
