SBI inks pact to sell stake in HDFC Venture Capital to HDFC

State Bank of India (SBI) has entered into agreement dated July 29, 2022 in relation to sale of equity shares held by it in HDFC Venture Capital to Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) for cash consideration of Rs 9.75 lakh. Post divestment, SBI will not hold any stake in the HDFC Venture Capital.

SBI is the country’s largest lender and it offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/ Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc.
