Bharti Airtel, Karnataka Bank and Ashoka Buildcon to see some action today

Within days of bidding for spectrum in auctions, Bharti Airtel has signed 5G network agreements with gear makers Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung to commence deployment this month. The Sunil Mittal-led firm recently acquired 19,867.8 MHZ spectrum in 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz bands, bolstering its spectrum holding.

Karnataka Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SCHWING Stetter India, one of India's major construction equipment manufacturers. The collaboration with SCHWING Stetter is expected to broaden the Bank's MSME financing prospects. This MoU will allow both SCHWING Stetter and Karnataka Bank to provide consumers with customised financial solutions.

Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from East Central Railway (ECR) for the Project viz. ‘Provision of Train Collision Avoidance System (KAVACH) along with two 24 Fiber OFC backbone in the sections between Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) and Pradhankhunta (PKA) of the ECR (Tender No. Kavach-ECR-01). The accepted bid project cost for the project is Rs 208.89 crore and completion period is 24 months from the date of LoA.

Triveni Engineering & Industries has received an approved for the proposal for setting up two new dual feedstock (sugarcane derived and grain) distilleries with an aggregate capacity of 450 KLPD at Rani Nangal and Sabitgarh, both in the State of Uttar Pradesh at an aggregate cost of about Rs 460 crore, subject to receipt of necessary statutory clearances.

Adani Power has reported many folds in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4,779.86 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 278.22 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company increased by over 2-fold at Rs 15,509.00 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 7,213.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
