Hero MotoCorp has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2012.
The company has reported 20.41% fall in its net profit at Rs 487.89 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 613.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company has increased by 2.60% at Rs 6277.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 6118.76 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011.
Hero MotoCorp is the World's single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors Limited in 1984. The joint venture between India's Hero Group and Honda Motor Company, Japan has not only created the world's single largest two wheeler company but also one of the most successful joint ventures worldwide.
