City Union Bank has inaugurated two new branches at Musiri, and K K Nagar at Trichy district. The bank inaugurated the branches on January 10, 2013
Earlier, the bank had inaugurated five new branches in Tamil Nadu. The bank had opened branches at Karamadai and Saravanampatti on December 26, 2012 while, it had opened branch at Anakaputhur on December 28, 2012. Further, the company, on December 31, 2012, had opened branches at Othakadai, Madurai District and Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar Dist.
The bank reported 3.74% rise in its net profit at Rs 80.42 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 77.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 29.50% at Rs 596.03 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 460.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
