IG Petrochemicals shuts down one of Phthalic Anhydride Plant at Taloja

IG Petrochemicals has shut down its one of the Phthalic Anhydride (PA) Plant at Taloja, Maharashtra. The unplanned shutdown is expected to last for approximately 15 days. The plant is adequately insured and the company has sufficient inventory of PA in hand and the product supplies to the customers will be unaffected during the period of shutdown.

IG Petrochemicals is a dominant player in the domestic Phthalic Anhydride (PAN) industry. IGPL has its manufacturing facilities located at Taloja, Maharashtra with an installed capacity of 1,16,110 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) as on March 31, 2011.
