Markolines Traffic Controls has received its biggest ever work order till date which is worth Rs 325 crore (excluding GST), from Gayatri - Cresent (JV) for the construction of a new 6 lane Tunnel in the Khambataki Ghat Section including approaches for the Pune - Satara Section of NH 4 in the State of Maharashtra under NHDP Phase -V on EPC mode. This contract is executable over 18-24 months and adds to existing unexecuted order book, taking total unexecuted order book to Rs 594 crore.
In FY22 company delivered a revenue of Rs 187 crore. This order is 1.75 times FY22 revenue and post this order, the order book at Rs 594 crore is 3.18 times FY22 revenue, executable over a period of about 2 years. Tunnel construction is another specialized area added to array of services & has only a few players with huge potential in the coming years in India.
