Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy zooms on emerging as L-1 bidder for BOS package

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is currently trading at Rs. 296.15, up by 15.30 points or 5.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 280.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 288.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 297.45 and Rs. 286.10 respectively. So far 45693 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 509.00 on 11-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 248.35 on 23-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 297.45 and Rs. 278.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5486.88 crore.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has emerged as the L-1 bidder for the BOS package comprising 4 blocks of the proposed solar PV plant of NTPC Renewable Energy at Khavda RE Power Park, Rann of Kutch, Gujarat with an aggregate capacity of around 1570 MW DC. The total bid value, including O&M for 3 years would be around Rs 2,200 crore (inclusive of taxes). The formal LOI and contract signing will happen in due course.
