REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has handed over the project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) formed for construction of Transmission Project viz., ‘Neemuch Transmission’ to Power Grid Corporation of India on August 24, 2022.
Hence, with effect from the aforesaid date, the above project specific SPV is not a subsidiary of RECPDCL & REC.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
