Om Metals Infraprojects bags two hydro-mechanical orders worth Rs 40.50 crore

Om Metals Infraprojects, India’s leading hydro-mechanical engineering company has secured two orders worth Rs 40.50 crore. The company has bagged first order from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) worth Rs 19.20 crore to execute the hydro-mechanical works for a 28 MW hydro-electric power project in Nyaborongo district at Republic of Rwanda, Africa. The project is expected to be completed by December 2013.

The company bagged second order from Moser Baer Power Madhya Pradesh (MBPIL) worth Rs 21.30 crore to execute the hydro-mechanical works on River Sone barrage. This 2520 MW project is one of the biggest thermal power projects wherein Om Metals will be installing 7 radial gates. The company is engaged in the supply of hydro-mechanical equipments including general & mandatory spares for hydro-mechanical works which is expected to be completed by March 2014. This power project is situated in the district of Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh.
