Ircon International is currently trading at Rs. 39.60, up by 0.30 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 39.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 39.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 39.75 and Rs. 39.30 respectively. So far 8707 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 53.35 on 25-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 34.80 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 40.45 and Rs. 38.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3696.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.21% and 23.60% respectively.

Ircon International has completed commissioning of doubling work of Hajipur- Bachhwara of 72 Route Km including electrification on September 28, 2022. The company was appointed by East Central Railways for this work.

Hajipur-Bachhwara section of Sonepur Division is located in between Hajipur-Barauni High density route and is alternative shortest route of traffic moving/going towards North Frontier region. The entire commissioning has been done in various phases i.e. commissioning of Bachhwara- Mohiudding Nagar (20 Km) and Mohiudding Nagar-Sahpur Patori (13 Km) has been done in the year 2020. Bachhwara Yard was commissioned in the year 2021 and commissioning of Sahpur Patori- Sahdei Buzurg (12 Km), Hajipur-Akshaywat Rai Nagar (12 Km) & Akshaywat Rai Nagar- Sahdei Buzurg (14 Km) has been completed in the year 2022.

On September 28, 2022 last phase of the section from Akshaywat Rai Nagar to Sahdei Buzurg (14 Km) has been commissioned. With this commissioning entire work of this project has been completed. After doubling of the Hajipur-Bachhwara section, it will save the detention time/ crossing time in train movement in this section and will facilitate NE bound Goods and Traffic movement in much lesser time.
