South Indian Bank’s gross advances rise 17% in Q2FY23

South Indian Bank’s gross advance stood at Rs 67,981 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2022 (Q2FY23), posting a 17% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 58,309 crore as of September 30, 2021 and in quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis stood at Rs 64,704 crore in June 2022.

The bank’s total deposit grew 2% to Rs 88,503 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2022, as compared to Rs 86,840 crore on a yearly basis. On a quarterly basis, the deposit stood at Rs 88,196 crore as of June 2022.

CASA Ratio stood at 34.55% as of September 30, 2022 as compared to 33.21% as of March 31, 2022. CASA Deposits stood at Rs 30,574 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2022, posting a 14% rise in year-on-year (YoY) terms against Rs 26,773 crore as of September 30, 2021.
