Jaiprakash Power Ventures has received an approval to divest Company's Nigrie Cement Grinding Unit as well as other non- core assets. The Board of Directors in their meeting held on October 10, 2022, have decided the same.

Earlier, the company had been emerged as the highest bidder for a coal block in Madhya Pradesh.

Jaiprakash Power Ventures plans, develops, implements and operates power projects in India. It currently operate the largest hydroelectric power plant in the private sector in India.
