Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a SeleQtions hotel in Anjuna, Goa. The hotel is a franchise with Guild Hotels. The 150-year-old Portuguese styled heritage building is being transformed into a hotel. The 49-room hotel is located in Anjuna, a laid back coastal village on the Arabian Sea.
The hotel is a short distance away from the beach as well as popular tourist spots, and will house a specialty restaurant. It is slated to open in April 2023. This will be operated by AM Hotel Kollection under the SeleQtions brand. With the addition of this, IHCL has 12 hotels in Goa including two under development.
Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
