REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL) has handed over the project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle), formed for construction of Transmission Project viz., ‘ER NER Transmission’ to Power Grid Corporation of India.
Power Grid Corporation of India has been the successful bidder of the Inter-State Transmission Project of Ministry of Power, Government of India and RECPDCL was the Bid Process Coordinator.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
