Tata Motors receives order for 200 electric buses

Tata Motors has received an order for 200 electric buses which will be deployed in Jammu and Srinagar. The company will supply 150 units of 9-metre and 50 units of 12-metre Starbus electric buses. As part of the contract, Tata Motors will operate and maintain the buses for a period of 12 years.

Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
